A dramatic monologue written in 1987, this is one of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads series for the BBC. A Cream Cracker Under the Settee is a touching and moving piece about old age and isolation. We met Doris, an 80 year old widow (played by Terri Winchester), after a fall in her home.

Performed at DAISYFEST 2014, G Live on 4th June and at The Arc in Caterham on 11th June.
