Our film and media workshops are for anyone wanting to dive into the world of filmmaking and audio production.

There are opportunities to gain experiences of all stages of the production process including:

  • Editing

  • Acting for screen 

We make sitcoms, dramas, comedies, documentaries and much more.

Each year we celebrate the work of our media group with a special showcase open to friends, families and the public.

Gary Thomas

I joined the Freewheelers in 2007.

I have made 13 short films as Writer/Director, including a 15min Sci-Fi short film. As an Artist/Filmmaker I’ve been funded personally by Arts Council, Screen South, Unltd, and numerous others. My work has been shown at Fabrica gallery in Brighton and I have also produced plays as part of Wandsworth Fringe.

I like that all the members come up with their own ideas, and that’s how we make such a variety of different films.
